All Ministry Center donations are currently being doubled!
Lighthouse Christian Ministries hopes to raise $100,000 needed to complete renovation of our new ministry center which is to be focused on serving the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
If Lighthouse can raise the $100,000 from the community by August, a group of 16 donors have pledged to match it, for a total of $200,000. Lighthouse has raised a total of $1.2 million for the $1.4 million project.
We will be hosting an open house at the future ministry center which will be home for the ministry's soup kitchen, clinic, food distribution center, offices and worship facility. The open house will be from 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. on July 15th. The address is 410 S. Columbia Street, Wenatchee.
As long as these funds are secured this summer, there are no delays anticipated, and the Ministry Center should be open by the end of November.
Lighthouse Ministries previously received two other large matching grants — $150,000 from Stemilt in 2016 and $125,000 from North Cascades Bank last year. Both were fulfilled.
The final requirements for the structure include finishing plumbing and electrical work, as well as the parking lot, signage and landscaping outside.
